Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Adam Sandahl is a native Californian and grew up in La Habra Heights, just 3 miles from the Chiropractic College which was Lowell High school prior to becoming LACC Dr. Sandahl a student at both schools ironically.

He graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1995, the Centenial of Chiropractic. Dr. Sandahl has been practicing for over 20 years and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP). Dr. Sandahl’s training from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, has enabled him to be classified as a specialist in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. Dr. Sandahl chosen to be the Chiropractor for the 2009 World Long Drive Championship held October 26-30, in Mesquite, NV.

Dr. Sandahl’s Maternal Great Grandfather Christian C. Peterson started practicing Chiropractic 1912. Chiropractic was not legalized in CA until January 1, 1923 and Dr. Peterson and many other Chiropractors were jailed for practicing medicine without a license. In 1923 Dr. Peterson received the 13th license issued in the state of CA; however it was numbered license #14 for superstitious reasons.

Dr. Sandahl is a proud father of 2, Christian and Alexis Sandahl. Dr. Sandahl is a lifetime alumni at LACC/SCUHS and a California Chiropractic Association member, (CCA). As an extremity specialist Dr. Sandahl understands it is crucial to address the whole body for optimal results and has a unique understanding of sports injuries. Dr. Sandahl has played rugby for 14 years, is a scratch golfer, (winning several World Long Drive Qualifiers, 389 yards is his personal best in competition), avid surfer, skier, and cyclist and was a cyclist spectator at the 2009 Tour de France! Se Fantastic!

Dr. Sandahl’s Chiropractic philosophy is that the body is a self-healing organism when not interfered with by subluxations (spinal and extremity misalignments, causing miscommunication in the body), environmental toxins, bad diet (Sugar), pooor hydration, sleep and lack of exercise. Chiropractic should be the conservative approach taken before someone decides to take drugs or have surgery. When following a holistic approach, which includes Chiropractic ("GET ADJUSTED") care of the spine and extremities, patients almost always get better!

Recently, Dr. Sandahl participated in the 2014 Long Beach International City Bank Marathon and out of 18,577 Particapants, Dr. Adam Sandahl was featured as the one who "Crushed it!"
